Review: The Modbeats’ single “The Passers-Bye” – Release date April 3, 2025
New Jersey band The Modbeats continue their quest to revive the classic rock sound of the sixties and beyond with their latest release , the atmospheric “Passers-Bye”. The band , who formed in 2023 have already released a string of singles that imaginatively embrace our celebrated musical heritage and their latest offering is a further endorsement of their credentials.
After an intro reminiscent of Oasis ( who have a healthy list of sixties influences themselves) there is a distinct echo of the Kinks in both sound and content as the lyrics ponder the ambitions of anonymous passers-bye before concluding that in reality dreams are squandered.
Another quality offering from a band bristling with talent . Rock at Night eagerly anticipates their debut album , due later this year.
