It’s been said that it’s the “biggest 80’s weekend…since the 80’s”. If you are still in love with that era, want to check out some great tunes from back in the day, or are just plain stuck in the 80’s, break out your best 80’s attire (not required but you just might end up feeling like a celebrity and it definitely adds to the atmosphere), come dressed to impress, and be ready to rock! This year’s festival will once again be held at Melbourne Auditorium. Weather will not be an issue and the show will go on, rain or shine. To add to the festivities, there will also be poolside VIP concerts and late night VIP after parties at the Crowne Plaza Ocean Front, which is the host hotel for the event.

80’s in the Park is entering its fourth year and is once again bringing you some great 80’s bands, including several that are returning from previous years such as: Nova Rex, Quiet Riot, Femme Fatale, Kip Winger, Great White, Jack Starr’s Burning Starr, and more. As an added bonus for this year’s event, two of your favorite video vixens, Tawney Kitaen and Bobbie Brown will be in attendance as well as Florida’s own Gene Simmons impersonator, The Art of Gene. The event offers free parking, a shuttle for host hotel guests and VIP attendees, and a variety of food and beverage vendors.

It has been reported that headlining acts will be performing at 5:00pm, 7:00pm, and 9:00pm however, the full entertainment schedule has not yet been released. Check the event website for updates and to purchase your tickets if you haven’t already. VIP and reserved tickets may still be available. Don’t miss out on your chance to rock the weekend away with some of your favorite 80’s music.
