Venue:Vera Club, Groningen, The Netherlands–February 3, 2017
Last Friday the band Vanderlinde released their new album Devil’s Trails in Vera Club Groningen, The Netherlands. The release show was recorded by a mobile sound studio and a camera crew, for the next – live – album of the band. Vanderlinde started 12 years ago in Groningen, The Netherlands. The band plays a mix of country and rock, and reminds to bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd or The Outlaws and sometimes to Crowded House. Devil’s Trails is the sixth album of Vanderlinde, most of them are recorded in the USA, and they did a couple of shows there. The popularity of Vanderlinde is growing, the band was support act of Fish during his European tour in 2014.
RAN caught up with Vanderlinde performing at its best for an enthusiastic audience. The band demonstrated a strong performance of classic rock with Southern rock influences.
Vanderlinde is: Arjan Vanderlinde (bass, guitar, vocals), Bart Schwertmann (guitar, bass, vocals, Mark Eshuis (drums), Wietze Koning (guitar), Christof Bauwens (steel guitar, dobro), Taco Amsing (sound engineer)
