Multi-Award winning American blues guitarist and singer-songwriter, Samantha Fish released her new studio album Belle of the West on Ruf Records on Friday, November 17th. She kicked off her 8-date UK tour at Stables in Milton Keynes on Monday 20th November. On Friday, November 24th, she performed at the Borderline to a sold-out venue.
Ms. Fish performed some great tunes that evening like one of my current favs “Highways Holding Me Back” and “Somebody’s Always Trying” between some new songs from the recent Belle Of the West album like “Blood In The Water” and “Don’t Say You Love Me”. During those awesome tunes, she continuously changed her guitars. One looked like a small wooden-made red ladies bag or maybe a cigar box–but all that only added to the sound and the view.
Then came the time when she had to say “We have time for one more song” and “Jesus, I hope you’ like it”. Off course we did! She played “Crow Jane” but the crowd didn’t let her go easily, because the encore topped everything. Jeez, that was a good one!

Andras Paul came from a traditional art background back in Hungary. He studied drawing, painting and animation and later began his interest in photography too.
