In hardly six week the Dutch rock trio Electric Hollers recorded, mixed, produced, and released their full length debut album Rise. ‘Sometimes it seems like a ‘hell of a job’, the lead singer told the band after the show. He continued, “But it was worth it. Luckily we were assisted by a great sound engineer/producer.”
The album is received well. One of the best Dutch blues and rock guitarists Ruben Hoeke is featured on one of the tracks. The fan base is growing fast, Electric Hollers has a good live reputation, the release show was sold out.
Electric Hollers is inspired by names as Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Santana, Jimmy Hendrix.Experience. “We don’t wanna sound like a typical sixties/seventies band, but we can’t deny our favorites” the band said. Electric Hollers is a young band in two senses: the members are in their early twenties and the band started end 2016.
After the show the job goes on: setting up the distribution, the socials, the streams, generating press reviews, booking a club tour, maybe even finding an agency. Rock At Night covered the band’s release show in the venue Neushoorn, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, where the band ‘rised’ above themselves and rocked down the house.
