“Alchemy Rose” New Single and Video from London’s Nigel Thomas

Nigel Thomas

London based singer/songwriter, DJ, actor, and former mental health professional Nigel Thomas has spent the last 18 months writing and recording his sophomore solo album, to be released early next year.  If you were lucky enough to catch him at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival, he debuted some new tracks to rave reviews.  “Alchemy Rose”, an upbeat Summery Britpop future anthem, is the first single to be released late this Summer.

As the lead singer and songwriter for indie rock band The Foxes, Nigel Thomas enjoyed several UK Indie Chart top ten hits, toured the world and recorded and released an acclaimed album mixed by John Cornfield (Supergrass, Razorlight, Muse) at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall.  After The Foxes disbanded, Nigel took the solo road with great success.  Among his fans, Blur’s Dave Rowntree and indie mogul Alan McGee, the singer/ songwriter kick-started his solo career with the hot debut, “Fever”. He followed the success of “Fever” and released his debut full length album ‘Travelling Man which was recorded at Tilehouse Studios by Luke Oldfield and mastered by John Davis (Led Zeppelin, Lana Del Rey, U2, Kaiser Chiefs). The album was received with much critical acclaim in March 2016, enjoying TV and radio support.  When it comes to song writing, Nigel Thomas has never been short of ingenuity. Apart from taking inspiration from musical heroes such as The Kinks or Elliott Smith, his debut album was also massively influenced by the literary work from Bukowski to Borroughs and Palahniuk.
