Tampa’s Gasparilla Music Festival moves to October 2021

The Gasparilla Music Festival (GMF) announced that its 2021 festival will take place in October and the exact dates and times will be released shortly. GMF also announced that the 2022 festival will return to its normal weekend of March 11-13.

The festival which is celebrating its 10th anniversary will be expanding to 3 days in 2021. More details about the 2021 festival including ticket info and lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Gasparilla Music Festival is produced by the non-profit Gasparilla Music Foundation and takes place on several stages along Tampa’s waterfront. Past performers include The Avett Brothers, Phoebe Bridgers, Cage the Elephant, Modest Mouse, The Roots, Brandi Carlile, Portugal. the Man, Erykah Badu, The Flaming Lips, De La Soul, Rival Sons, and Jason Isbell. Proceeds from the festival support GMF’s Recycled Tunes program which provides new and refurbished instruments to Title 1 schools in Tampa Bay.
