Album: “Yesterday’s Gone”

Release Date: April 23, 2021

This band rocks it and if you like heavy metal and hard rock, this band plays your jams! After a listen to their upcoming album, this was the general conclusion with us here at Rock at Night. The provocative titles to both the album and the first released song and video refer to what Jeff Carlson recently experienced; he is the band’s guitarist and singer and has had ongoing medical issues and a recent brush with death. The album will be released on April 23rd and the first single and video release, “Fire” will officially drop on April 1, 2021 and was released on YouTube on March 26, 2021.

As the lock-down for a few weeks in March of last year stretched into months, the band perfected the songs, recorded them and meant for them to speak to the state of the world, to social and political issues and the medical issues that Jeff was facing that were life and soul changing. The result is an album that is reminiscent of the big, huge sound of the 80’s and 90’s arena rock that we all love!

Jeff describes, “Fire” was a labor of love that I wrote lyrically about my wife and we really worked hard to make the music heavy with a groove to it. We worked it up with three or four different structures, but in the end, we really liked the way the final version came out.”

The album, “Yesterday’s Gone,” originally started out as an E. P., but once Covid hit, we all stopped playing so we decided to make it a full-length record. We really took our time and made sure we put in the time for the detail work to really shine on this record. I wanted to write lyrically about what was going on in the world during the pandemic as well as I thought it was really important to write about hope rather than everything being so bleak. At the end of the day, we are really proud of this record because we all gave 110% to make it as great as we possibly could make it!

The band hails from Las Vegas and the rest of the band lineup includes:
Todd Turgeon – Drums
Robbie Wolfe – Guitar
Cory Kay – Bass
Special Guest: Mark Slaughter – Lead Guitar on “La Do Da”
Backing Vocals by: Jeremy Wolfe

Stand out songs are “Promise the Moon,” “La Do Da,” “Liquid Sky.” You can pre-order the album through all the major platforms HERE.
