PREMIERE: Atlanta band Mudbrain release cool, grungey single ‘Hells on Fire’

Mudbrain

Atlanta-based alt-metal outfit, Mudbrain, was formed by Aleks Serdar and Joe Largent after Serdar was on the road with a former Sumerian band called American Sin. They just released a single “Say Something” from their EP The Filth. Rock At Night is proud to premiere “Hells on Fire”, which will be available worldwide on  June 18th.

Rock At Night says: Grungey and slushy, “Hells on Fire” welcomes back the 90s with its total “Alice-in-Chains” groove.  The vocals are melodic, dark, and ominous and the power chord riff is wickedly, dooming.  The song slows down toward the end into an even darker staccato groove, ending the song on an even more sinister note.

Produced by Mr. Shamoozoo Films, the  backdrop of the video is the band performing “Hells on Fire” outside and inside an auto repair shop. Flames burst behind the band’s drummer, as the camera pans to junk cars, hot rods and even a vintage Bentley. The singers light up smoke pipes and images of flames sweep across the screen. Toward the end of the video, two guys ride a tandem bike as flames are shot and the drummer streaks in underwear. Lots of antics! The guys clearly had a blast filming the video.
