Orange County, California’s rock band, Robert Jon and the Wreck are at it again, giving us a brand new single, their title track from their upcoming album, “Shine a Light on Me Brother!” This band really knows how to rock and they have become a favorite here at Rock at Night. Their custom blend of Southern Rock from California, good old Blues and exceptional Rock and Roll has wowed audiences from their home state to venues throughout Europe and beyond. And their fan base is growing with the release of each new album. As of this writing, the band is currently playing statewide dates in California and heading out this Fall on an extensive tour through the UK and Europe in support of their new album.
About the title track, Rock at Night says: “”Shine a Light on Me Brother” is an infectious, gospel-y, hook-filled, boogie-woogie romp and stomp through this blues-rock song with a little soul and rhythm & blues thrown in. Lots of vocals and backing vocals make the listener want to sing along!”
The band is: Robert Jon Burrison on lead vocals and guitar, Andrew Espantman on drums and background vocals, Steve Maggiora keys and background vocals, Henry James on lead guitar and Warren Murrel on bass. The band has been together since 2011. This latest recording is from the band’s sixth studio album.
