Fellow ghouls and goblins of the night, the Street Creatüre has taken form and they have each arisen from the shadows of a funeral outbreak of a virally masked pandemic. A corrupt, captivating four-piece horror-rock band that dwells within the opus peering mythological Sunset Coast of Perth, Australia, are all set to trade a woman’s scintillating obode of entrapment for the freedom to roam and wander feelings on their rant and rave debut single, ‘Heart Shaped Stain,’ which dropped onto all streaming platforms during the next fullest moon of shivery reflector with a raging music video on July 23rd, 2021.
Apart from reminiscing and dabbling in horrific visuals of ‘80s ‘Shock Rock,’ OD Winters (vocals), Scotty Maxx (guitar), Elle Jay (bass), and Rory Keys (drums), have written a tale from the splitting pull of their raw-edged sound, and clawing through the secular industry’s mounds of dirt. At the onset of Street Creatüre’s gang of condemning vocals that scream to provoke fear into their heavy-punk paranormal fan’s earlobes and bringing them on a high strung punk track that is infused with an irate catchy hook, whilst adding individual tastes of sleaze from hardcore rock groups, Alice Cooper, KISS, Guns N’ Roses, Wednesday 13, and Mötley Crüe.
Heart Shaped Stain, whether you’re a ghoul or a goblin, this record single is for your pleasure and fair warning. A farewell to a beautiful yet dangerous woman’s snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are like chains. Even the Creatüre of iniquity pleases to escape her, but… unfortunately, it’s been stained in a soul tie and taken over by romantic interest to the point of no return. Now every time you think you’ve had enough of her love, she’ll lure you back in for eternity.
Street Creatüre are not those which choose to exist within the bottomless pit of the abyss, but those who choose to break free from the abyss and move silently among us. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world that there was only one of him. There’s another, the Creatüre has risen!
WHO IS STREET CREATüRE? Street Creatüre are a horror punk band, formed in the shadows of the pandemic. Four individuals with one vision, to create a rock act that captivates its audience, bombarding them with sleazy rock sounds and horrific visuals derivative of a 70s B grade horror flick.
Growing up as a child in a Christian household raised by a single mother and grandmother during the 1990s was such an awe-inspiring adventure. In his Elementary School days, he took a feeling of attraction towards rock ‘n’ roll music as he heard "Beast of Burden" by The Rolling Stones, and "Don’t Let Me Down" by The Beatles playing from his uncle’s 1970 Chevy Malibu garage. Records by Madonna, Alanis Morissette, the Fugees, and Lil Suzy were also being played throughout the house by his mother, dressed in a black leather biker jacket and who would occasionally put the radio on blast.
In 7th grade back in 2002/2003 school year, Mclaude had written the number-one narrative story amongst the class and caught the attention of his then teacher, Mrs. DeFeo as she called him upfront and said “Anthony, your story on ‘The Volcano King’ is incredible. You should be a writer.” Ever since that day, Mclaude in his rebel without a cause era has always kept those words in mind as a way to keep pushing himself past the limits. As fifteen years past, he enrolled himself in Cumberland County College studying journalism and wrote for the university’s Award-Winning Newspaper, The Voice as he grew as a creative and tenacious reporter with a nose for news, and a passion for community journalism. In spite of the blessings outshining the hard times, he received the opportunity to be a staff writer for a local news outlet, The People’s Press of Millville, where he has written five articles, two press releases, page growth, and has received encouraging feedback from the community.
Today he is currently working for the magazines of Eclectic Shades and Rock at Night.
