Live Show Review: Cemetery Sun
Venue: The Stone Pony at Asbury Park, New Jersey-November 5, 2021
Cemetery Sun on tour with Grayscale came through The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. They brought some amazing tracks along with great stage presence. I knew right away this was a band I wanted to know more about and share with a wider audience.
Sacramento’s Cemetery Sun have consistently evolved since forming in 2015. Their single ‘Fake Love’ racked up 13 million plays on spotify which made their 2019 EP ‘Haunted’ very compelling. They have spent the last few years sharing stages with bands like Blink-182, Papa Roach, The Maine and many more. Cemetery Sun is made up of Josh Doty (vocals), Matt Scarpelli (lead guitar) and Elliot Polokoff (guitar and producer). After these uncertain times of 2020 they are prepared to bring the best Cemetery Sun can.
Cemetery Sun made their way to The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey on November 5th–and Rock At Night was there to capture their fiery set. The band blew me away with some great catchy tracks and awesome stage presence. They are the type of band I love coming across. The band’s tour extends through December in various cities so try to catch them in your town.
