Single Review: abductee’s single ‘ Paris With a Broken Heart’ – January 31, 2022

Rock At Night Says: Jangly guitars and a cool bass riff permeate this ‘New-Wave-ish’ (are we allowed to use this word?) garage rock song. Ear-worm worthy harmonies subliminally weave in and out of the song. Think The Hives.
It appears the release of the single coincides with the video, which features the Eiffel tower and a mime prancing around. We’ll try to forgive abductees for using the mime–however, the song totally rocks.
Looking at the band’s songs on Spotify, there is a nifty collection of singles which are ear-worthy and offer a wee bit of humor. Look at the titles “Who’s Gonna’ Be Yr Axl Rose” and “Ted Bundy”. We’re intrigued.
