Live Review: IDES at Bond Street Basement-Asbury Park, New Jersey-April 23, 2022
There is nothing like a matinee punk show at Bond Street Basement in Asbury Park. Asbury Park, NJ is a town where there is music, shows, entertainment going on everyday of the week pretty much throughout the year. As we gear up for the season of 5,000 capacity shows at The Stone Pony Summer stage, 17,000 capacity shows at PNC Bank Arts Center we can also find a 100 capacity show in the basement of the Bond Street bar home to one of the coolest DIY stage setups thanks to Casey from the Von Moms. He runs the entertainment at Bond Street Bar and also handles the sound and stage setup. IDES came through this time–a real cool punk rock band with a female singer who has a killer voice that’s louder then she is tall. I couldn’t believe what came out of her as she belted out some great songs. If you are into hardcore or punk, check them out.
