Fresh off their spring tour, The Dollyrots have rested up and are ready to hit the road again for their upcoming dates this summer on the regular run of the east and fall covering the west. Check out all the upcoming summer and fall tour dates and tickets are available NOW–be sure to get them early–CLICK HERE!
The Dollyrots are one of Rock at Night’s favorites and are local for us; splitting part of their time in the Tampa Bay area and the rest of the time touring or staying in LA. The band is: Kelly Ogden on vocals and bass and Luis Cabezas on guitar with Justin McGrath on live drums.
Says Kelly, “It’s been too long since we’ve hit a lot of these cities and we are raring to go! So many familiar faces and places we’ve missed the past couple years, so we are ready to make up for lost time. Cannot wait to bring the fun and mania!”
The Dollyrots are now working with Little Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records. The band’s most recent release is Down The Rabbit Hole, a 24-track collection of B-sides, rarities, and cover songs with a Dollyrots twist. Check out Rock at Night’s review of the album from last December right HERE. And what an album! I still have it on repeat! The album is a mix of songs from the band’s 20-year history, remastered and it includes previously unheard tracks and alternate takes. You can stream or buy it here:

Kelly is currently the host of Sunrise Surprise radio show weekday mornings from 4 AM EST to 8 AM EST on SiriusXM’s Underground Garage (Ch. 21) as well as voicing Stevie Van Zandt’s “Coolest Songs in the World” station on SiriusXM (Ch. 721.). Learn more at: www.SiriusXM.com/streaming.
The band is currently in the studio working on new music to be released in 2023 and we can’t wait! In addition to that (do they ever sit still?), next month, Cleopatra Records will be releasing The Dollyrots high energy, punk rock version of Gilbert O’Sullivan’s 1972 hit “Alone Again (Naturally)” as a Limited Edition 7″ on pink vinyl on June 17.
