Live Review: The Uneasy- Stone Pony, Asbury Park, New Jersey-May 27, 2022
The Stone Pony started doing a Sunday showcase series featuring bands from all over. The purpose of these shows is to allow bands to showcase what they have with the hope of being booked for future shows with bigger headliners. So far there have been three showcase shows and some really cool bands have come through the doors.
A few weeks ago I got to see a band The Uneasy perform and I was very impressed. They are an Alternative/Progressive Rock band from New Jersey that consists of three main members. Vocalist Emily Jean has a lot of spunk, a great voice, a great look, and an amazing stage presence. She is so much fun to photograph but it is always very challenging because she is constantly moving all over the stage. The other main members are Kevin (bass) and Max (drums). The band is rounded out with two guitarists and a backup vocalist.
Their showcase performance won them a spot on a recent show opening up for All Revved Up, a Meatloaf tribute band. The Uneasy is a very entertaining band to listen to and watch live. I sure hope I get to see The Uneasy play more future shows.
