Review: Karamelien’s album – Living with the Moon – Release date: December 6, 2023
Behind the sweetish moniker of Karamelien is indie pop-rock duo of singer-songwriter Léanie Kaleido and guitarist Mark Foster, who just came up with their debut album ‘ Living with the Moon,’ following the three albums that Léanie Kaleido released as a solo artist.
So what does Karamelien brings us as far as the music on this album? Actually, some sleek, sophisticated songwriting and vocals from Kaleido, who has obviously crafted her art delicately on her sol.o efforts and some instrumental flair from Foster to match.
Essentially, it is the melodic pop of truly high quality that harks to the best of the genre that is available at the moment, something you can play along with your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Any occasion really, music yo just let keep playing.
