Introvertigo has been out for a little while and Dan’s been on the road rather a lot recently supporting greats such as 15-time Grammy Award nominee, Joe Satriani, and being a special guest on award winning blues-rock band, King King’s UK tour, but with the single “Sonova Faith” released on April 10th, he’s now on his own headline tour including five dates in the UK during May. Rock at Night met Dan at the end of a marathon press-day promoting his tour and were his 24th and final interview of the day! We talked about the concept behind the album’s striking cover art which unearthed Dan’s deep love for the “slow blues” of Pink Floyd. Then went on from there to discuss the broad palette of musical influences evident in Dan’s genre-straddling brand of blues-rock, and amongst other things, what it’s like to tour with Everlast.
Celebrated South African guitarist and vocalist Dan Patlansky released his highly anticipated new single “Sonnova Faith” on Monday 10th April which coincided with his upcoming April / May UK tour with special guest Lincolnshire-based singer-songwriter Ash Wilson.

The first time was in 2014 with his previous studio album Dear Silence Thieves which featured the rock radio singles Backbite and Fetch Your Spade. This marks Dan’s first UK tour since he supported King King in 2016, and Joe Satriani’s 2015 Shockwave UK/European tour.
